The Management and Staff of ASTI PTE LTD are accountable and committed to create a safe & healthy work place for the prevention of injury and ill health to all persons working for or on behalf of ASTI PTE LTD.

We are committed to comply with our customer’s QEHS requirements inclusive of applicable legislations and regulations.

Our commitment to implement, maintain and continually improve our QEHS management system and QEHS performance to uphold the elements of this policy and achieve the following:

  • Develop our management processes to ensure that Workplace Safety & Health are considered during planning and implementation.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, government guidelines, regulations and industry codes of practice on Workplace Safety & Health issues, and where possible exceed them.
  • Ensure that on a continual basis Workplace Safety & Health hazards are identified, risks assessed and suitable controls put in place to prevent injury and ill health.
  • Engage with employees, contractors and visitors to further reduce safety and health hazards and risks associated with working for, with, or on behalf of ASTI PTE LTD
  • Communicate with its stakeholders its policy, objectives and targets and other relevant information pertaining to the review and implementation of the OSH-MS.
  • Investigate and identify causes of any incident or accident, implement and review counter measures taken to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Strive for continual improvement for safety and health practices and standards. This includes but not limited to regular review and monitoring of the effectiveness of this occupational health and safety policy.
  • Trained and prepared personnel for the protection of our workforce and workplaces in the event of any terror related attacks in support of the SG Secure movement.

To fulfill this policy, ASTI PTE LTD will devote resources towards setting, reviewing and achieving our WSH objectives and targets. We shall also ensure that the QEHS Policy is communicated and understood within the organization inclusive of workplaces, and made available to interested parties.

The QEHS Policy shall be annually reviewed for its continuing suitability and appropriateness, and accordingly revised if required.

We shall ensure that all personnel who perform tasks that may have a direct/indirect impact on QEHS in the workplaces are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training and experience to perform the tasks. Employees shall be appropriately and adequately trained supervised, and empowered to take appropriate actions to promote an environment conducive for working safely.
